Narrative

NARRATIVE: ON 9/26/97 AT 0740 CST, A PA-28-161, N130ND, OWNED BY THE 
   UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA AND FLOWN BY CARLTON SUMNER, TAXIED INTO A 
   PARKED MAINTENANCE VEHICLE ON BRAVO RAMP AT GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL 
   AIRPORT. THE PRIVATE PILOT WAS RETURNING FROM A LOCAL TRAINING FLIGHT. 
   THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE REQUIRING SKIN 
   REPLACEMENT. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. AS MR. SUMNER IS A MEMBER OF 
   THE UND COLLEGIATE FLING TEAM, THE TEAM HAD A STAND DOWN AND HE 
   CONDUCTED A SAFETY MEETING FOR THE TEAM UNDER SUPERVISION OF UND STAFF 
   MEMBER MR. ALAN SKRAMSTAD.
